횡설수설, 앞뒤가 맞지 않게 말하다.

Mike: I hate talking to the new boss.
마이크: 새로 온 상사에게 말하는 거 정말 싫다.
Sarah: Why do you say that?
세라: 왜 그러는데?
Mike: He is so full of double talk.
마이크: 계속 앞뒤가 안 맞는 말만 하잖아.
Sarah: What do you mean?
세라: 무슨 소리야.
Mike: I tried to get him to give me some details about next week and he just kept talking about this week.
마이크: 다음 주에 대해서 자세한 이야기를 듣고 싶은데 계속 이번 주 이야기만 하고 있잖아.
Sarah: You should have just asked him to explain.
세라: 그냥 네가 원하는 걸 설명해 달라고 해. |
