A : 미술품 감정 가시라면서요. 이 그림 어때요 ?

B : I'm afraid this piece of work is not up to par.
B : 이 작품은 기대에 못 미치는데.

[Note]
"My teacher said my homework was not up to par and asked meto do it over again."
라고 했다면 "선생님이 내 숙제가 기대에 못 미친다고 하시면서 다시
해오라고 하셨어."라는 의미가 된다. 

※  저는 오늘 몸이 안 좋군요.
I'm not up to par today. (not up to par는 또한 아프다는 뜻도 있음)
