Lee: I finally talked myself into buying a computer.
       결국 컴퓨터를 사기로 스스로 설득했어.

Tom: Did you buy a notebook?
       노트북을 샀어?

Lee: No I got a desktop.
      아니 데스크탑으로 샀어.

Tom: I've got my eye on a notebook.
      난 노트북에 눈독을 들여왔지.

Lee: I checked out some notebooks but they don't have the power I need.
     노트북도 몇 알아봤는데 내가 필요로 하는 기능이 안되더라구.

Tom: I like them because they're light and you can take them anywhere.
      난 노트북이 가볍고 어디에나 갖고 다닐 수 있어서 좋아.

Lee: That's not a big deal with me. Besides notebooks are more expensive.
     그 점은 나한테는 그렇게 대수롭지가 않아. 게다가 노트북은 더 비싸서.

Tom: You get what you pay for.
     돈 들인만큼 득이 있어.

Lee: Then why don't you buy one　?
     그럼 자네 하나 사지 그래?

Tom: I'm saving my money.
    돈을 모으고 있는 중이야.
